Ultimate Guitar: Chords & Tabs App Reviews

This is my "go to" AP when I want to learn the chords of a song to a favorite artist. Love it! I am a beginner, and with the helpful videos and explanations I can review many times.

I am a brand new guitar student and this is the best app I own. I havent found a song I wanted to learn that was not in this app. Great job to your developers!!

Im extremely upset that after paying $3 I realize its only a version of the website without tools to actually play the song or tabs. The website automatically sends you to the App Store every time you hit any play button. This is super whack bc it was deceptive. If everything transparent we wouldnt be here.

This is an excellent app for tablature.

Its where I go when Im mobile and want to find the chords.

Ultimate guitar is terrible. All they are about is ad revenue and not making their terrible website and app better.

This is my go to app when I am alone and wanting to play and practice my guitar. Ive been playing for 45 years and this is best product for guitar music Ive ever seen or used. Way to go. Awesome app.

Just learning at 26 on a guitar Ive had for 10 but just never sat and learned to play and this app is a great tool.

This app is honestly trash. All it is is a compilation of armature work. Yes, I could tab out a song and have it put on the app. Anyone can. This also means that most of the time, the chords and tab are just flat out wrong, or simplified to the point of sounding no where near the real thing. I hate how it splits up the tabs and chords. It makes learning a new song impossible. The app is hard to navigate and very unfriendly. I feel genuinely ripped off. Please take my advice, I know what Im talking about. Please save your money.

I love this app! Can learn any song you can possibly want to know. I only wish they would add a section to learn the strum patterns as well.

Only day two and I have 90% of the hotel California solo down. I can slow it down, loop whatever bar I want, and even choose which guitar notes I want to read when multiple guitars are in the song.

This app is awesome but I purchased the lifetime membership a couple years ago and when I got back on here recently I had to resubscribe..

Practically taught me to play guitar. Easy to use and hard to find a song that isnt listed.

I especially like the fact that you can have an acount so that incase the app gets deleted you dont have to go looking for all the songs you favorited before.

This app has helped me so much! I enjoy practicing my guitar using this app. It makes it simpler to play all your favorite songs!
